After doing some design scoping, we decided we wanted to create a “Mobile Execution Centric Plan Viewer” (name is temporary). We drew the following diagram to illustrate the different planning and execution tools at play including how our tool might integrate with them.
One major goal of our design is to consolidate execution tools and reduce the overhead caused by context switching. Therefore, instead of linking, our design would depend on syncing and uplinking of data. Both the workflow and the presentation of data will be optimized for an executor in a mobile environment.
