Individual brainstorm
After brainstorming sketches individually, we came together as a group to discuss and share our ideas. With each sketch, we noted features and design concepts from each sketch on a sticky.
Analogous design activity
As a next step in the design process, we came up with analogous scenarios to prime our brains to think more creatively outside the box: robbing a bank, a 3rd date, and a football play. To make connections to a planning and execution software, we went back to our research findings (affinity framework and planning lifecycle visualizations) to map out tools, constraints, plan, specific to each scenario.
Based on our concurrent brainstormed design goals and the user research findings from the spring semester, we created sketches of possible interfaces that would support the operation of each scenario.
The purpose of this exercise was to help us approach the project scope in different perspectives to yield different and interesting features that might be applicable to our project for the rest of the semester.
